Clement Scott, Jr., served with the American Presbyterian Mission in Iran from 1948 to 1978. He wrote home of his experiences and observations in close to 650 letters to his parents and his sisters during these years. The author has organized, compiled and edited 350 of Clement Scott's letters from Iran. The story of Clement Scott's life and years of Christian service are put into a rich historical context of this time in Iranian and American history.
